Since its conception in 2013, the ICCBB has visited 70+ locations across the Indianapolis area. The band has one purpose: to uplift the spirits of those who need it most through music. What started as a group of four going door-to-door, now consists of 50+ volunteers, from all over the country, coming together on Christmas Eve and packing into homes, shopping malls, nursing homes, fire stations and more with their instruments and infectious positive attitudes. Some are professional musicians while some haven’t picked up an instrument since the year before!
Dan Nix brings these volunteers together to create a morning full of joy for the ill, our first responders, the elderly and anyone who has had a tough year and just needs a touch of holiday spirit. This non-profit and its volunteers truly embody what it means to give through music.

The ICCBB is always looking for ways to fund its ever-growing band in order to make the most of what the group has to offer. The goal is to expand this state-wide, and eventually throughout the U.S.; playing year-round instead of one morning out of the year!
